We know how important it is to take time off to relax and unwind. So, to help you achieve a healthy work/life balance, you’ll enjoy at least 30 days of holiday a year pro rata (including public holidays). Depending on your length of service your holiday will jump up too.

We’re proud that so many of our colleagues choose to stay with us for such a long time. And we celebrate this loyalty with our service awards. Everyone who has been with us for 5 years will receive a payment, and every 5 years after. If you stay for 25 years, we'll also arrange a special event and a generous gift. It’s the least we can do.

At the default rate, Morrisons pays the majority and there are two tiers available to all colleagues; pay more and the company pays more too!

We offer a Life Assurance Scheme, more commonly known as a 'Death in Service' benefit.  All our colleagues are entitled to this benefit from their first day of permanent employment with us, subject to eligibility rules. If you're an active member of the pensions scheme, 'Death in Service Benefit' is four times your annual salary. If you're not a member of the pension scheme, you're still entitled to the benefit at 1 times your annual salary.

At Morrisons we care about our colleagues' wellbeing, and we work with a number of organisations to provide information, advice and support to colleagues and their families.

Our wellbeing partner Vita Health, offers free and confidential information, advice and support for all our colleagues and households 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, on all wellbeing matters including mental and physical health. They also provide a management support helpline Monday to Friday.

We provide colleagues with free access to Aviva's Digital GP and Aviva Wellbeing app services, where they can book unlimited video consultations with an NHS-registered private GP.  Colleague's children are also covered up to age 16.

We're working with the team at the UK Addiction Treatment Group to support the wellbeing of our colleagues when it comes to addiction and behavioural disorders.

We've partnered with Salary Finance to provide colleagues access to simple financial education, as well as loans at affordable rates, repaid directly from pay.
